Saturday March 13th from 10-11:30 AM at the Town Park in Surry, Sign
Wave to Protest the upcoming vote on Obamacare. Everyone is welcome to
come and wave signs urging citizens to call Congress (Michaud, Snowe,
and Collins) and tell them to start over on Healthcare reform. Bring
signs and be part of stopping this bill from going forward.
 
Saturday, March 20th in Ellsworth at Whiting Park (corner of High St
and Main St) another Sign Wave: Protesting Obamacare from 10-11:30 AM
(this will take place if the scheduled vote is not taken in Congress
on the 18th.)
 
Thursday, March 25th Surry Republican Committee Organizational
Meeting: At the Surry Town office at 7 PM. All Surry Republicans
welcome.
 
Thursday, April 22 : 7 PM at the Surry Elementary School to hear Gay
Leach and Jon Walden, candidates for District 37 House of
Representatives' seat. District 37 includes the towns of: Sedgwick,
Penobscot, Brooksville, Blue Hill, Castine, and Surry. This is an
opportunity to meet Jon and Gay before the June 8th Republican
Primary. Both will address the audience and have a Q and A time.
Citizens from all of these towns are invited .
