Fundraising Committee:  Deb Chiampa reported: Quilt raffle ticket packets will be sent to 250 people.   In a letter enclosed she stated that all fund raisers have been a success this year.

Sandi Blanchette suggested using Jasper’s for the Christmas Party again this year.  Sandi will check into this.

Blue Hill Fair:  Grace Shea is in the hospital so Phil asked those who volunteered to be at the fair to make sure they came or, if unable to come, get a substitute.

We need to have hand outs as to who the HCRC is.   Does anyone know who has anything like this?

Also have voter registration.   Any candidates who have information should give it to the HCRC for the fair as well.

Sandi Blanchette has volunteered to be Secretary Pro-tem.

Petitions:  Kathy Birdsall has done a great deal with petitions regarding taxes.   The Republican state party has been joined in this by the Green party.

The finished petitions must be in by September 3.

Candidate Development: The HCRC needs the town chairs to come to the meetings.  Kathy B proposed that the HCRC calls the town chairs and asks them to call their committees.

November Ballot:  A question was raised; What will be on the November Ballot?

School Consolidation, Homosexual Marriage and Tax Reform are all expected to be there.

Next Month’s meeting will be at China Hill Restaurant in Ellsworth.  Social time at 5:30 dinner at 6:00.   Cost $11.95.

Dan Sullivan moved and Eric White seconded adjournment.
