Hancock County Republican
Monthly Meeting
The
meeting was called to order at
7:03 PM at Ellsworth City Hall
by Chairman Mark Remick followed
by the pledge of allegiance.
David Lind led the group in the
invocation.
The
January and February minutes
were read by Secretary Sandra
Blanchette.
Gete Thompson moved and Debbie
Ciampas seconded approving the
minutes.
Motion carried
Kathy Birdsall, treasurer
reported on finances.
Claire Grindle moved and David
Lind seconded the treasurer’s
report be accepted.
Motion carried.
Brenda Breeding was nominated
for treasurer.
Gete moved and Mike Povich
seconded electing Brenda as
treasurer.
Motion carried

(opposed) sign wave will
be on Saturday March 20 from
10-11 at Whiting Park,
Ellsworth.
ADS:
Two years ago at this time we
had $12,000.00 in ads.
This year we have
$2,700.00.
Please sell ads.
The deadline is March 30.
Tea Party:
Saturday, April 10 at 1
PM at Acadia Christian School in
Trenton.
All are welcome.

district will meet Town
Chairs
Mark Remick introduced Paul
LePage, Waterville mayor and
candidate for governor.
Mayor LePage gave an
inspiring speech explaining how
he is a mayor and is used to
executive decisions that a
governor needs to make.
He explained many things,
including where the state could
save money and how he has
already cut taxes in Waterville
5 out of 6 years as mayor.
He answered questions
from the audience and received
an enthusiastic response.
The
meeting was adjourned after
Mayor LePage spoke and he
remained available for
discussions after.
