Eric White called the meeting to order at 7:05p.m

Bill Barker manned the 50/50 drawing, thank you Bill, and thank you to all who provided the wonderful refreshments.

Steve Montague led in the Pledge of Allegiance, Jeff Cucci said the prayer.

Secretary’s report;

Liz Walker read the minutes from the last meeting, Bill Barker motioned to approve as read, Gete Thomson seconded, motion carried.

Treasurer’s report;

Gary Mosely gave the report, Richard Malaby motioned to approve, Brian Langley seconded, motion carried.

Chairman’s remarks;

Eric White commented on checking out a new headquarters site at 95 Main St. in Ellsworth, above Ruth Fosters, rent would be $500.00 a month to include utilities. The executive board had voted to approve funding as we already had 3 pledges from sponsors for monthly amounts. We will still need more funds and members to commit to volunteering at the site. Discussion ensued on pros and cons of this commitment.

Eric White introduced our guest speaker, Richard Malaby, who gave a very interesting and informative talk on healthcare here in the state of Maine. Brian Langley also helped on some of the issues and questions. There followed much discussion on this topic.

The 50/50 drawing was held with Richard Deckers being the grand winner!! Richard donated some of his winnings back to the HCRC, Thank You Richard!

Phil Fredrick motioned to adjourn, Kathy Birdsall seconded, meeting adjourned at 8:50p.m.
